Gary Mule Deer’s unique combination of comedy and country music have set him apart as one-of-a-kind. He has performed on nearly every major concert stage in the country and made over 350 television appearances, including many on both The Tonight Show and David Letterman.

One of six comedians to star, along with Jay Leno, on the very first HBO comedy special, Gary is currently featured on the DVDs Jeff Foxworthy’s Comedy Classics and The World’s Greatest Stand-up Comedy Collection and is one of the most played comedians on Sirius XM’s Laugh USA.

Mule Deer is a regular and popular performer on The Grand Ole Opry, with over two dozen appearances in 2019 alone. In a nearly 60 year career, he’s shared the concert stage with over 100 country, rock, and pop music icons, including touring as a special guest with the legendary Johnny Mathis since 1994.

In addition to his well-known comedy, Gary Mule Deer has always performed classic country, rockabilly, and the music of Johnny Cash. He is currently the subject of an upcoming documentary by VIA Productions Memphis and is featured in a five-part Showtime series on The History of The Comedy Store.
